Liquid Biopsy
Liquid biopsy enables non-invasive monitoring of cancer and other diseases with growing clinical implementation. The session covers circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) for MRD detection in colorectal, breast, lung and bladder cancers (DYNAMIC, BESPOKE, Signatera, MRD-EDGE), liquid biopsy in CNS lymphoma and primary brain tumours, methylation signatures for cancer of unknown primary, multi-omic liquid biopsies, and the clinical-implementation landscape including reimbursement. Discussion addresses ctDNA-guided treatment escalation and de-escalation, liquid biopsy in transplant rejection monitoring (Allo-Pro, dd-cfDNA), prenatal liquid biopsy and circulating fetal DNA, the analytical-validation requirements, and the equity challenges around liquid-biopsy access globally.
